Orchid I recall had a slightly bluer undertone and was perhaps dusty. Peony was an honest more saturated pink. If you go to the reference library you can see colors there. No matter what color the Disco is a super cute bag. Because of its small profile it’s a cute flirty pop of color. I think it’d go with just about everything.

You're right, of course - I love all those shades and sometimes get 'orchid'd out'. LOL. @shiningrubygirl Since you like the bag, it is a smaller bag and perhaps, in that color, it won't be too much for you but will let you live the dream. :sunshine:

Hi - can someone please authenticate this Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Large Veneta Hobo, please!

I notice that the leather piping has receded greatly (they aren't plump like I see on other pre-loved bags) and when worn, it doesn't show at all on the sides and bottom. Is that normal?

Authentic. Given its age (2008) it seems in fine condition - it's not that the fettuce has "worn" but that the sides of the bag have relaxed and expanded.

I have purchased this Bottega Chain Cassette from Vestiaire Collective and while I wait for the seller to ship it and then for VC to authenticate it, could you please give me your opinion regarding authenticity? I trust the authenticators in this group way more than I trust VC and as I've never had or seen a Bottega bag IRL before, I would just like to be extra sure I got the real thing.

This appears authentic, but I would question the seller's statement of "never worn". But that is not our 'job'. :) :flowers:
