Does anybody know for fact that Bluefly sell authentic Bottega Veneta? I bought 2 bags and 1 wallet from them. They all look authentic to me. Since it was my first time buying from them I'd like to have some peace in my mind. Thank you.

I saw this bag today, too, and am intrigued by it. I've never seen this style before--it has the shape of a Sloane, but double zip opening and the tied handle. None of the photos show anything that says "fake" and the sheen of the leather looks good. So I don't see any warning signs, but can't promise that it's real.

Has anyone else seen this bag? I haven't been in a real BV store since last summer. It may be a special twist on the Sloane style.

Hi, I agree with boxermom that this bag is real, but the seller should not be calling that bag "red mahogany". The bag is not mahogany red, from the color code and her pictures you can tell it's the quarzo color which I've seen described as bubblegum pink, bright pink, peony or even fuschia. In some light it can look almost coral or salmon, but I don't think it's ever looked dark red or mahogany.

Boxermon, regarding caitlyn's sloan bag, I looked at the authenticity tag carefully and I saw that the tag looks a bit transparent, ie, we can faintly see the serial numbers from the back side of the tag. Is it normal for BV bags? But the perforation on the sides looks fine. I checked with my BV items and the tags were not so thin for you to see the numbers from the underside. Does that give any sign regarding authenticity?
