Greetings! I don't want this item authenticated for me, but I did want to let you wonderful BV lovers know about it in a safe way! Supposedly, this BV Steamer Trunk was owned by Oprah, thought it might be someone's HG, and wanted to pass it on.

I think the bag looks fine and authentic; not sure what you mean about 'darken' - I have not found BV leathers to darken (or lighten) - they are high quality and generally do not change over time, if taken care of properly.
