Comments: Ladies, this Cocker can't be authentic, can it? I didn't want to post in the fakes thread unless I was positive. It doesn't look like cervo (which I think most cockers were), the lining looks off and the authenticity tag (with incorrect info for this bag) looks like nothing I've ever seen before. There are two bids on it.

I'm concerned about the nuvolato's authenticity because it appears to have three rows of numbers on the tag, whereas pictures of others I've seen online only have two rows of numbers (refer to this pic that I'm attaching below). I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this?

I think some of the tags are sewn more into the seam than others. Sometimes a 3rd line will be visible. Your bag looks exactly like mine, so I wouldn't worry at all. They are hand made and sewn so there will be minor differences. I saw a genuine cosmetic case with the leather heatstamp patch sewn on upside down!

p.s. never say never, but I've not seen a fake Nuvolato. It would've been a really tough one to fake. This is my favorite BV in my small collection.

It looks a bit darker than my old catalog but in Fall 2005 collection there is a med/dark blue called Bonaparte, so it's possible it's that color. My color code list doesn't go back to 2005 and I can't find this code.
