special order knots have a gold plack in them
I am not authenticating the empire or ny knot but the knot looks funny to me
not sure why there is a picture of the Kardashians since neither one of them is carrying that knot bag
I would stay away from this if I were you unless someone else can say it is authentic
I never heard of them doing a special Knot for NYC a cabat yes but not a knot
when they do a limited edition knot they usually make a big deal out of it
send out email blasts etc

Wow! Thanks for pulling this image out! I've been searching for information on the knots released for the store opening but came up with nothing because it was so long ago (2004).

You are welcome. Our members have taken such great, detailed photos of their bags and can be useful when comparing. I was able to authenticate my own knot bought on the second hand market, using Bunkies photos of the exact same bag.

Seems like in sharing their passion for these brands, every one has contributed in some way or another to stomp out fakes and help rehouse unused bags.:tup:

I think the picture of the Kardashians are there just to make up the numbers (you get to upload 12 pictures). However, I wished the seller had uploaded more pictures of the bag which would have been more helpful. Gah
