Hi,
I just got a preowned BV hobo, and I couldn;t stop thinking if its a fake one. Why? I couldn't find any authenticity tag inside the bag and the brand tag only has " Bottega Veneta" while missing " Made in Italy". However,
> Zippers, stitching, leather weave - all seemed to indicated highest quality.

Seems that Bottega have switched their authenticity tags several times to avoid counterfeit. It seemed totally possible that it was separately included.

It touches like an authentic BV.

Is there any other way to tell if the bag is counterfeit or not?
Thanks SO MUCH!

K

I saw a BV hobo on ebay a while ago that's just as you described, (heatstamp missing the made in italy) words and I think it looks fake. You should post some pics here for our authenticators to confirm.
