Thanks so much for confirming what I suspected all along.

That's really awful to know that it's been circling in ebay for a while! Makes me feel for anyone else that might fall victim to the seller.

I've bought a few vintage BVs on ebay and so far my experience was good. It's unfortunate that I get my only bad experience on the most expensive BV I've bought on ebay. Hopefully though, I can still return it and get my money back.

Thanks again for your help.

My best wishes to you! Baggiana gave you some great advice and I'm hopeful that all will work out fine :smile1:

We are here to authenticate for you when you decide to buy your next ebay item :)

Can you authenticate this key lanyard? I hope the pics are clear enough:) thanks!

Although I must own at least four of these, I don't feel comfortable authenticating them...there's just not much to go on. Let's see what other authenticators say :smile1:

I agree with Miss_FancyBags: there is not enough to go on with the item, and the pic of the imprint is not clear. It could be, but I cannot be certain. Unfortunately, this is one of those things for which you must trust your seller - so I would only buy from authorized outlets or trusted sellers. Wish I could be of more help.

Thanks very much for your help. I had my suspicions at first when I was considering to buy the item, but because: a) the seller kept insisting that she bought it at Neiman Marcus, b) I wasn't very familiar with recent models of that bag, and c) I thought her seller feedback was good--so I was tempted to buy it.

I should have listened to my instincts. Good news is, I did pay through Paypal, so that's a layer of protection on my part.

Thanks again for all of the advice. In the future, I'll definitely ask for help in this forum on authenticating things first, BEFORE committing to buy. A hard lesson learned.

I'll let you know how it goes. :smile1:

We are here for you when you are ready to consider another BV bag/item. If you have anymore questions about how to proceed do not hesitate to ask. We are pulling for you!
