I honestly don't know. It certainly isn't like the usual vintage styles we see, but that doesn't mean it isn't genuine. I will let others comment. It's a lovely bag and my guess is it's authentic, but I just don't know.
Trust your feeling on this one. In my very strong opinion, this bag is a fake BV.
