Although I don't see any warning signs outright, we need more pictures before giving an opinion - see post 1 of this thread. Also, you may want to ask for pictures in natural light so you can see how much soiling is on the leather :smile1:

Please have a look at this bag. The seller says the color is plum, but it looks like ink or china to me. I have asked for a picture of the front and back of the auth tag.

Hi, Kroquet - it looks more like ink or china to me, also. We'll know when we see the back of the auth. tag. I'm not familiar with this bag or the seller although the bag looks like a wonderful, sturdy style and the seller has nice things for sale and good feedback.

Let's see what others say. I don't see any warning signs so far.

Hi, it's an authentic BV :smile1: It's several years old and retail may have been around $1200 - $1400 new - can't remember exactly. I had this in a tan color (maybe noce) and it's a nice bag! Loved the meaty shoulder strap ;)

Since it's best offer, you could email the seller and ask him/her the bottom line.

I can't help myself - I must mention condition. As Baggiana has said in the past - this one's been rode hard and put up wet. You can get these on sale and at outlets...just sayin' :graucho:

From the tags only, what you received is a large nappa intrecciato nero veneta... lucky woman!!! Without looking at the rest of the bag I cannot say for certain, but from the pics that you supplied these markers indicate that it is authentic.
