The dimensions make it a medium size Veneta which retails for $1580, not $2150. Even the large size Veneta sells for less than that ($1980). This makes me question the seller a lot.

The second bag is authentic vintage, though not all that old, maybe 9-12 yrs old.

The color is Opera, a Fall/Winter 2010/2011 color. It's even prettier IRL. There are probably some photos of Opera in our BV color reference section or you could check the BV website (www.bottegaveneta.com) to see other photos of Opera.

Not ignorant at all, no apologies necessary. The font is the style of lettering of the brand name inside the bag somewhere. Every designer bag I can think of has their name in some form--stamped into leather, stamped on a metal plate that is attached to the bag. maybe a tag with the name on it--and they all use unique styles of lettering, and they may add where the bag or accessory was made. And designers sometimes change the font over time.

So for this bag, the seller should provide a clear photo of the words *Bottega Veneta* with *MADE IN ITALY* below it stamped into the leather inside the bag. Any seller dealing in high end bags should know what you are asking for. this bag looks good so I'm sure the seller can find it and provide a photo for you. It would be good if she adds it to the listing because many buyers will expect to see that detail.

I'm sorry I didn't see your request sooner!

The first bag shows the listing has ended.

Second bag is authentic.

Third bag is authentic but the seller has over-stated the original retail price. I couldn't find dimensions, but the retail price for the large Marquis (the name of this style) Veneta was $1980, not $2500+ back in 2006.

Just want to be sure this one is as well as I have only 24 hours to return if I wish. TIA Please let me know if you need clearer pics, I tried using macro but still didn't work great.

comment: missing tag pic, i did write the seller and here is her response:
"I also think she cut out the tag....she cuts them out of all her clothing."
Any change that you experts can tell from the listing pics? i did write the seller back and mentioned to double check, since there is a very good change her mother would not even know the tag is there since it's buried inside the zipper pocket.
