Hi, this is an outlet wallet. The seller should mention this in his/her listings since it does make a difference to many buyers! :smile1:

The listing as well as the seller was removed by Ebay after I paid with paypal. Stating privacy reasons, the ebay customer service officer did not divulge the details of the violation of ebay policies to me. I am still waiting for my item to arrive.
With the removal of the listing, this item is now not in My ebay's won/purchased lists even. It looked like everything just vanished , save for the fact that it remains on record a paypal transaction. And I do like this simple knot ... :crybaby:
Does anyone have any experience with this ?

This one doesn't look good to me...you may want to call ebay / pp & file to get your money back. It's odd they didn't reimburse you after you called them the first time.

I find it strange that ebay did not inform me but just removed everything from its records --sigh...so much for ebay buyer protection.

anyway, will proceed to resolve this with paypal.

Hi, I think there may be a thread here about that, but I'll give you my personal opinion.

Besides the fact that the zippers are usually plastic instead of metal, I feel the quality is inferior to the boutique wallets in the leather, lining and construction. In the past, when BV contacted me regarding new wallets that came in from the outlet, the salespeople would always make sure to note that I understood I was getting an outlet vs. boutique wallet. I've had the opportunity to handle both types many times and just feel that there is a difference. Maybe I'm just picky.

Many people will probably disagree with what I've said. :smile1: Personally, I'd rather spend the extra money and get a boutique wallet (and I'm really careful with money).

forgive me for chiming in here as i know this is off topc :angel:. I feel exactly as MissFancy does, my friend purchased a made for outlet bag and the quality is not the same. Plastic zipper, leather is thinner. I would rather spend the extra $$ to get a FP BV, either pre-loved or directly from the boutique.
