the seller seems to have bumped the price up significantly since you first posted - now $3595 starting and $3975 BIN. that is quite a premium.

That's just greed, the bag retailed for $2,520.00 plus tax. I totally get covering your cost to sell but not a 40%+ markup. Seller also says 'new' in the title but makes no further comment about condition in the listing... If I were considering this bag, I'd ask for closeups of the corners, the handle, the authenticity tag, inside lining and the edge along the opening which gets the most wear on a Sloane. And I would ask about odors. I know I sound very picky, because I am, lol! Nothing worse than paying too much for a bag and be disappointed.

get out of here!! that listing price is insane! i adore my sloane (clearing throat) to my enabler, i agree with LT for that price it better be brand spanking new. that is if you wish to pay that premium for the color. :confused1:

Not to sound "disrespectful" of your verdict, but I remain a little "insecure" over my Knot. :shrugs::-sReason is that I am comparing it with my girlfriend's black knot (black leather knot instead of my gold metal one) and the 2 knots are very different. The most obvious being the CURVATURE of the knot (or the shoulders of it, if that helps), among many other things.

Please let me know if BV knots vary in style and i should not compare across styles. Should I include the comparison photos in this thread or would it be better to PM you separately?

Let's let some of the other authenticators give opinions. I stand by my authentic opinion, though. I always found some variance in the knot itself in leather vs. satin bags, but I don't have any knots at this time to post pictures of. :smile1:

My Knot isn't satin but I compared as many details as I could and I agree that this looks genuine. These are handmade so there will be very slight differences if we look closely.
