Hi,
I posted a posting recently about purchasing a medium nero cabat from Love that Bag -Malleries,I finally got it today:)
I spoke with her and she sounds great and
I am sure it is authentic as it came with the cards, dustbag, and even the box, and it is in great condition,
but I want to double-triple check with you guys, since it's actually my first time making a huge purchase through online.
So no offense to her or to anyone...

I have posted some pictures for authentications.
Please let me know if you need any more info!

Just one more thing, isn't there supposed be a small cotton authentic serial number tag in the bottom of the bag ? mine only has one inside the attached pouch with the gold plate.

Bottega DOES put authenticity tags in ALL bags.

abcoco-I went back and looked thru my cabats and some have the tag on the bottom and some don't and mine were all bought thru one of the BV boutiques...Hope that helps...I have the MINI Nero and love it...Enjoy..

Thanks so much for the valuable info and going through your cabats as well~~

I actually asked the seller if she knew why the tag was missing,
and she told me that she actually had the same concern when she first consigned this bag so she checked with the BV boutiques and they confirmed that some of the cabat batches produced during those period Oct 2009 went with tags only in the pouch.

Honestly,
when I look at the bag,
it is SO Beautiful and the way slouches on the table is so....lovely~!
It was obviously a work or genuine craftmanship,
I felt silly for obsessing over the tag,
but gotta do what one's gotta do since it's not 35 bucks!

with the information from you guys and from the nice seller
i am more in love with this bag!!!
I will enjoy this bag~

LT, if I had to put money down on a bet with this one, I'd say it's authentic but one of that odd "small" size made a few years back (i.e. not in the mini, med, lge, maxi veneta that we reference). I'd bet that the tag is the brown one sewn so far into the seam in the pocket that she/he's not seeing it. Of course, I wouldn't buy without seeing more details such as the tag and the zipper pulls. :smile1:

P.S. and of course, you are right...BV does put the auth. tags in even the tiniest of the venetas...the mini.

Hi, this looks like an authentic vintage BV but I have a concern about the color. The inside leather around the plaque is brown which leads me to believe that the bag may have been dyed. I'd start a dialog with the seller and ask if it's dyed and for more pictures of the interior. It's a possibility that the picture of the plaque around the brown leather is from a different bag/auction, too. :smile1:

There's nothing wrong with a dyed bag, but you should be told of this in the auction.

Thank you for your valued opinion!!! I'll ask the seller to dig for the tag inside that inside pocket and pictures of the zipper pulls.
