Hi ladies, I got both of my knots and took a picture. There are definitely differences in the "Knot". My satin one is thicker, the color is more "antique". The twisting of the knot is a little different too. In the photo where the end of the satin knot twists down, the black one points straight. Please look at the pictures and let me know what you think! Thanks so much!

boxermom, in the middle picture of the series of 3 I posted, the knot points down, and the othe side points straight, does your know have 2 ends pointing straight? I've searched all the knot pictures, and all of them has one end pointing down. I was researching on this forum and it seems that Miss_FancyBags commented on this one back in late September. Funny thing is that it's listed by another seller in Texas (not the seller I bought it from unless there are two exactly alike) , Katie's*Stuff, please see following link:

I remember this one! (post 2633 on 9/13). I would have loved to see a closeup of that box.

If I were you, I'd think about asking to return your "knot". Next time before bidding on eBay/bonaza, just post a quick request here for authentication and we'll help you out! :smile1:

I agree with Miss_FancyBags. There is some doubt; try to return this for a refund. On mine, both knot ends are almost exactly the same vertical height from the top of the bag, pointing out. On the photo you show, one side is lower, though pointing out. Mine doesn't have either side bent down. I just don't know how much variation there is with these handmade bags. Mine was from a special order with BV so I know it's authentic.
