I had trashed this cos I didnt feel that this is the bag I would like to own. I requested posting of pics on ebay, as well as pics of zipper back. Seller chose to email me the photos instead and none of the zipper.
Anyway, retrieved it for the benefit of those who might still be interested and as an academic discussion in authencitiy...

The stamp would be on the back side of the zipper, but the photo of the pull helps. I think this is genuine. It almost looks like a forerunner to the Julie bag.
You're right--the dimensions don't fit what I know, but I don't have a Cabat abd am not as i nformed about them as others here.
I see no warning signs, but wait for someone else who knows Cabats to comment.

I believe that all these quotes go together. If this is the case, then this bag could well be authentic - one of the earliest of venetas. I have seen and authenticated this before - quite a lot lately. In order to be certain, I would like to see the back of the zipper slide.
From all the markers this is a large, nero cabat - and I would say authentic.
