NYCshopa - your second bag looks like a fake, the first does not have pix of the type and quality requested and bidding ended. however, as i wrote on another request of yours for authentication a couple days ago we require certain pix of a certain quality - please refer to the first post again and we volunteers respectfully ask you request the right photos before asking for authentication.

Hi, I'm from Shanghai, China. A few days ago, I bought a BV woven wallet from a Chinese B2C website, something like Ebay. For language reason, I have to post here the pictures and other details of the wallet, pls help me authenticate the wallet.

Item Name: INTRECCIATO NAPPA CONTINENTAL WALLET
Front View
Inside View
Zipper
Tag

I can't take a clear picture of the reverse side of the tag. It is just printed with 5 lines text.
Line 1 is: "CERTIFICATO DI ORIGINALITA"
Line 2 is: "this label certifies that this product is an"
Line 3 is: "original trademark product of Bottega Veneta"
Line 4 is: "150509 V0013 4802"
Line 5 is: "EPEV 2008 4061 C"

welcome to bv! i don't see any warning signs on this based on your pix. wait for a second opinion though as i am not good with wallets.

To doloresmia: Thank you, anyway.

Actually, when I got this woven wallet, I thought it's a real BV product definitely because of its exquisite craftsmanship. The stitches are neat, the metal zippers are high quality without any buckling, and even the position of the buttonhole is the same as what the sample shows on the BV official website. However, a friend of mine told and showed me that except the tag there should be another special mark, which can be seen as an authentication method, in the BV wallet.

Special Mark

My wallet has the white tag only, no the circle mark. I searched some BV items on Ebay and found that some have the special mark but others haven't. The result made me feel a bit puzzled. So, I came here for help.

Hi, I think your BV wallet looks good! :smile1: The color is Azure from the 08/09 resort collection. The "special mark" you reference just means the wallet was a "made for outlet" wallet and less expensive than your wallet which is from a boutique. It's beautiful!

Your wallet is authentic. That circle mark looks like the mark we see in wallets that are made for the *outlet* stores. I don't know if you have those stores in Shanghai.

Don't worry, your wallet is genuine Bottega Veneta and a beautiful color. Congratulations!

p.s. I hope to visit your beautiful city someday! My husband has been to China many times and loves your country.

The second bag is definitely a fake Cocker, and I'm suspicious of the first one too, but there are no photos of the white tag. The style doesn't resemble anything I've ever seen by BV.

I appreciate your help very much!
The seller is a student studying in Italy. She told me that the wallet was bought from an outlet at Vicenza Italy this July.
One more question, as you said, if the wallet is from a boutique, why can't I find the color of my wallet on the official website?

Hi, nycshopa - pretty please...can you make sure we have all of the pictures we need before posting to ask for authentications? It would make things so much easier and faster :smile1:

Regarding this bag, we do need the other pictures that Boxermom has requested to give a proper opinion; however, there is an authentic style that looks like this and one in a veneta style which I have owned previously. FYI...

Dear lovely and knowing BV ladies,

I stumpled upon this:

Item Name: Bottega Veneta medium Campana in Nero (i think)
Listing number: 140440957046
Seller name or ID: girlsngear
Working Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-WOVEN-L...-HOBO-USED-ONCE-/140440957046?pt=Women_s_Bags
Comments: I know there are probably not enough pics, I already requested more but haven't heard back from the seller yet. Just wondering if it is possible at all to say something about the bag? I also don't know if the price is reasonable and for how much this style usually sells… The seller has 100% positive feedback.

Thanks so much! :smile1:
