Authenticate This Botkier

I bought this at a resale shop for what I think is a steal. Paid $25.

Would like help authenticating it, the style name, what it valued for, when it came out and what the resale value of it is (like if I did get a bargain or not).

Hi - that's the Botkier James hobo.
Many of the older style Botkiers are going for under $100 now on eBay, depending on condition. The problem with the blue/purple bags from a few years ago is that many of them are fading because apparently the dyes that were used aren't stable. That's what appears to be going on with yours.

Hi, Can someone please help me authenticate this clutch? It's a local sale and seller is asking $65. Thanks in advance!

Like I said in the PM I think this is real -- the plaque for the brand name is correct and it has the jacquard lining. I think really only the most popular Botkiers like Trigger and Bianca (from that era) were copied, but smaller items like this wouldn't be worth it to fake. Hope that helps.

Hi, can someone authenticate this Botkier Medium Trigger bag? I would love to buy it, but only if it is authentic. I heard the Triggers can have both printed and plain linings - the lining is plain brown. I have another Botkier (black Nicola satchel) and the plate looked right to me, but I wanted to be sure!

I know Im late but in case it's relisted, I'm pretty sure this bad boy is real

Please help me validate this purse I snagged. I unfortunately think that it may be a knock off but I'm not sure. I purchased it from Twice and didn't think to have someone verify it before hand.

It's apparently missing the fob for the zipper but I didn't realize that before hand. Anyway, here are the pictures.

That doesn't look like any style I have seen. It also looks a bit cheap. That said, even if it's real, you overpaid because old style Botkiers are going for well under $100 on eBay. Even the classic styles like Bianca and Trigger. But the lining is wrong, and again, the leather doesn't quite look right. Also, all of my Botkiers have topstitching on the seams (that's when there is a seam, then two very tight seams right along side the main seam). This bag doesn't.

Thanks tickedoffchick! Sadly that is what I figured :/ The good news is I had a coupon and some referral credits so I only paid about twenty bucks for it.

Hi All,

This is my first post and I hope I am doing this right.

I bought a small trigger satchel in black from Amazon.com which I received yesterday. I paid $255 for it (RRP is $298). After unwrapping, I find some of the details disconcerting. You can see them from these pictures. I thought it might be a knockoff (although it does have an authenticity card with an ID on it). What do you all think? Are these flaws normal? Are there any other details I should check?

I brought up my concerns with the seller. She claimed to be a certified Botkier reseller and insisted that this bag is real, and the flaws shown in the picture are "national operational characteristics". After some back and forth, she offered to give a $40 partial refund, which she claims to be her full profit.

I understand that I can return the item the "normal" way, but I am not inclined to do it unless the seller is paying for the hefty return international shipping (and she refused), for I am located outside the states. I am also concerned that she might charge me a restocking fee of up to 50% for "used goods" since I have removed the bag's original wrapping (a clear plastic bag), and removed the tracing paper stuck onto the handle and one tassel to have a thorough check on the bag.

The link for my purchase can be found is here.
A similar active listing (with different insides from mine) by the same seller can be found here: http://goo.gl/PmJsC3.

Sorry for including potentially irrelevant details. Any comments or suggestions are welcome! Feel free to let me know if I should post in another thread :D

I need help identifying and pricing this clutch. It's a tweed-like fabric and leather straps with brass (?) studs.

Hello! This is my first purchase of what I hope to be a Botkier. I absolutely love the color and style, although I'm not able to find a similar style but the color appears to be "coral".

13"L
18"H - fully extended, 10" folded over

Thank you in advance for your help!
