Oh okay so i will have try to fix it as soon as possible. It means that when they fix it they have to open the sewing and attach the stud? I hope i can find a good repair place to fix
They'd have to open the lining. As @Deco said, the leather piece is sewn on so, providing the other stud stays secure, you should be OK. Aesthetically, I'd want to replace the stud.

Try Lovinmybags, they come highly recommended here. I’m going to send a bag there to have the handles recolored.
Thanks for the info but I am afraid it is within my reach. I am from Indonesia. I have found one place here that profesionally handles bags and repairs. They said they just need to open the fabric from the inside so it will be fine. I dont have to worry much with my baby :D

The piece of leather is not sewn to the bag. It can be lift up and down. Like this in the pic
View attachment 6127648
It is sewn in. What's holding that piece of leather to the bag is the bottom piece, under the flap you've pulled up. It's not the studs holding that piece of leather on the bag, but the stitches. The studs provide additional support, but it's the stitching that attaches the leather to the bag. For the handle to come off of the bag the stitching will have to come loose first. If it does, and without the support from the lower stud, the stitching can come loose further up that piece of leather, but will stop at the top stud that's still there.

This is my way of saying that it's highly unlikely that the handle will come off the bag because of the missing stud. But I agree with @muchstuff that for the sake of the bag's appearance (and resale value), I would definitely replace the missing stud.

The bag is now currently with the repair service. They say the studs wont look exactly like the original ones but I hope the result will be great. Will post it here and ask your guys opinion on the new stud later on 😀 thanks so much once again

Oh by the way i have one more question. If i dont fix it the stud. Is it gonna affect the handle if i carry heavy things ? Or it wont?
I'll chip in..I have a Bal bag I purchased when it was known as the 'motorcycle bag'..around 2005 ?..about 5 years ago the same stud fell off of mine...I took it to a local shoe maker (The bag was so old I did'nt want to take it to the boutique..Its trashed but I can't let it go I love it).
They replaced the stud with just a standard silver one and its not compromised the strength at all-I still load it with stuff.

Authentic. Doesn't necessarily look painted to me, but it does look faded. Rouge cardinal is more like the color you see on the back of the inside leather tag.

Thank you, I’m glad it’s not repainted. I’ve been fooled so many times. Its definitely faded compared to the color on the inside tag which is a really rich red. I wish the bag retained that color - I’m not sure how I feel about the fading… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unless this is a killer deal, my advice is to hold out for an unfaded bag. The leather textures and colors are what make Balenciaga bags special. This one is not living up to Bal’s reputation.
