Hello there!

Could I kindly get some advice - Is it possible to have two bags of different hardware colour (gold and sliver), hold the same serial number?

Some background - I was about to buy a bag on online but before doing so I researched on its serial number. What I found surprised me - another bag online had the exact same serial number but it is in a different hardware colour (gold instead of sliver). The style and colour of the bag is the same though.

Each style has a number and if it's exactly the same bag except for colour (same style, same hardware) they'll both have the same style number.

Thank you! Haha, there was a couple of hours where I stopped seeing it as a super-gorgeous and instead, as a potential super-fake!

Was very lucky to see it in the Finds thread when I did (it'll probably never happen again), and the condition was much nicer than I had hoped—and no smells! Color is also much nicer in person than in my pics.

She will be even nicer when she comes back from a little LMB spruce!

It is the same style, same colour but different hardware (one is gold, the other sliver) but they share the exact same serial number - 431621.1465.A.568024

I’ve always thought each serial number is unique to each individual bag. Guess I’m learning it’s not?

Not with Balenciaga. I of course can’t comment on the authenticity of you bag without the necessary pics.
