Hi all! I’m posting the link and existing photos for this Rebag listing. I messaged them for more photos of the zippers and haven’t heard back but wanted to post anything available here before purchasing. Have never purchased from Rebag before; even though they guarantee authenticity, you never know. I also am no good with date codes without the letter so can’t place the year/color of this bag for closer sure authentication.

Hi all! I’m posting the link and existing photos for this Rebag listing. City small was first produced in 2016 I believe.

If you're referring to the bag you posted, it's not a City in the small size. This bag style is called a First and was introduced way back in 2001 as a prototype (Lariat/Classique/First bag) that almost didn't make it into production. NG gave out 25 bags to supermodels and it-girls like Kate Moss that helped make it so popular.

Thank you; perhaps I should write to Rebag. The plot thickens! The bag is listed as a small city, and the given measurements check out (somewhat) . That’s why I was confused about the color- it certainly looks like a color from the 2000s, and I didn’t think Balenciaga made the small size until after the 2010s which @muchstuff confirmed.

It’s so tough to shop resale when sites don’t label the style properly. I’ve been searching specifically a small city bc I have a mini and classic, and want something right in the middle but with depth. The small is 11.5 x 7.5 x 4, and the first is 13.5 x 7.5 x 2.6. This bag is listed as 13 x 8 x 4. Now that I see the measurements, neither is exact match to the small or first ‍♀️ I just want to make sure it has enough depth and always thought the first seemed small. I decided against the town because of the depth as well.

What a mess that is at labeling styles at Rebag! I guess they don’t know style names!? I would’ve never thought they meant a First by calling it a Small City since a Small City is an actual style name. And the measuring must have been very rough because they are off by 1.5” in depth smh. Thank you both for the time on this!! Why I posted here in the first place

The City small is just a smaller rendition of the more current City. Depend on whether you’re looking for oldies or not. And what type of leather you prefer. There are some nice City smalls as well.
