I've no experience with Balenciaga bags and am hoping to get one for myself this Christmas. Came across this one on the bay:

Would it happen to be authentic?? And for the BIN price that the seller has quoted, is it worthwhile paying that much? Since it is stated as being "Rare", I wonder why the price isn't any higher?
Does anyone own a metallic one like this? And does it flake or peel over time?

There are no pics of features needed to authenticate such as bale, back of rivet and back/front of leather tag....ask the seller for those, and post again,

Looks OK, but you need a clear picture of the inside tag - silver (top) and leather verso. Also a better shot of the bales would help. Is there a link?
no the auction has ended - i have a sneaking feelin my boyf may have bid on it for my xmas present- i was leaving hints!! anyway i want to be sure, of course. The bag sold for over £400 (private bidder) and the seller says full money/returns back if not satisfied or if not authentic.
I think it looks pretty good though - but i'd HATE it to be a fake if he did end up getting it for me!!!!!!

I know this is old news already since this bag was bought. It is real. I almost bought it in Hawaii. It's almost white with a tinge of pink. Beautiful...in case you come across it again! It's smaller than the twiggy though.
