Well I saw it a few months ago
so she's been selling for a while.
Im not sure if she cleaned it
but like the zipper area was yellowing
and the back was greyish
the handle wasn't that clean.
After I saw the bag I didn't want it
So i didn't look very closely.

I'm just a newbie, so I skip the authenticat part. I am wondering where the seller purchased it. I think Saks in NY doesn't carry Balenciaga. I might be wrong. Also the seller might just forget where it was purchased.

I don't know if Saks in NY sells Balenciaga either, but I think I do recall that other Saks locations might. The woman's husband is selling some of her "stuff" because he said that alot of it hasn't seen the light of day! Cute...

Try using the search function to have a look for threads discussing the best and worst characteristics of each year's leather. Generally most people believe 2005 has the best, hence the high resale prices, but it really does come down to the individual bag and whether you want smooth, wrinkly, distressed, veiny, thick, etc leather or not. There are plenty of black Citys with fantastic leather from every year and black is repeated every season so you don't have to worry about missing out. Hope that helps!:smile1:

Thanks a lot, Silverfern!

I'll continue my quest for the "Perfect" black city~!!
