This seller accepted two offers from tpf members at the same time.

One started a thread and two very observant members caught it.

After many phonecalls to paypal, seller apparently got scared and refunded the second buyer and sold to the first. The first buyer received the authentic bag.

How can you tell? There were 3 offers, but they seem to be from the same buyer and were all declined?

That means the seller listed an authentic item but swapped with another one when he/she shipped. R-O is a very famous scammer on the forum. She scammed over 10 buyers, and most of them were tPFers. She joined the forum and earne some trust. She either sold one bag several times to different buyers, or sent them fake ones.

This is a terrible situation and I hope you work this out.

HandbagAngel, I'm an English teacher, so bear with my nit-picking: it's "bait and switch": they reel you in "BAIT" you with one thing, and then give you another. You have the concept correct, but it's BAIT, not BAIL. Now you'll hate me, I know, but am truly trying to be helpful

Hmmmmmm, Ladies not sure if you remember the drama... this was the listing I bought my bag from...... uh oh.... was there only 1 real bag? the one I have????

the style number is for a SGH PT, but is this bag a city or a PT? by the auction pics, it's supposed to be a city bag.

also, the stamping is really deep and that is NOT TYPICAL of a tag stamp :nogood:

what is this bag - a city or a PT?
