I can see nothing wrong with the silver tag, but I think it must be a replica. No one can match that color to the tag. Also, the handles seem too long. :sad:

Maybe you can get pictures of the rivet (Can't enlarge the one that is posted) and the back of the leather tag?

Yeah i looked at the picture of the tag for a long time. And it really looked like my city tag but I just can't get the color to match the U tag. I think it is quite scary how good the replicas are getting...

Hi I bought this bag http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260275244649 The seller claims she bought in 2006 I am assuming she thinks it is a ink bag. But when I recieved it it was a total fake and in the worst condition. So she wont let me return it but I told her I would post it here and let eveyone authenticate it if everyone agrees with me I can return it.

I avoided posting the photos repeated so to save space. This is a very bad fake. Leather, hardware and shape are all wrong. You definitely should request a return for refund. If the seller doesn't cooperate, you should report to PayPal for a dispute. Good luck!

edit: I looked up the original listing and obviously it is a big lie. You should file a SNAD (Significant Not As Described) dispute via PayPal to against this seller. This is totally a fake, and it is not purchased from BalNY.

I went back and measured my 2005 Green Apple City bag and it measured 14.5" across the top...... My Plomb one measured 15"...both are authenti of course.....
If I had the auction link for the black bag I could look closer......
