Authenticate This Balenciaga

Hello guys! I admit to not knowing anything when it comes to Balenciagas, but I plan to purchase my first one very soon! I was looking at this auction, and what bothered me about it was that this bag is described as new for 2008, yet all the photos are dated January 2007! Which is almost 2 years ago! It bothers me that this seller is lying, and also that they didn't take new photos for the auction, what do you guys think?????? thanks!!!

agree with connie - bag is authentic, the date on the photo itself doesn't mean anything. i've never set mine either!

What the...? I have never seen anything like this and being that I was so taken aback by the style I thought I would post it here just because. If anyone would like to verify if it's real or not then that would be great. I think it's fake but I wanted to see what you ladies thought of the style.

looks like an 06 black city. would need to see a clear pic of the bales/rivets and back of the tag to be 100%

Wait for Nicole or HandbagAngel, but this looks very suspicious to me. I could be getting paranoid, but I'm focusing on the bale, which looks like it dips only on one side, and the imprint looks uneven enough, that it troubles me.

nicole2730...I knew it, I just thought it was such a curious looking thing. Bal doesn't put their logo or a metal tag on the outside. No fake is great, but this one is just so off that I was so curious enough to post it because I was wondering where they could have possibly come up with the idea of putting that metal tag on the outside. I'm sure they've seen the real deal before. Hmm...
