^ This Black PT confuses me. It ticks all the marks with hardware...but oh if you could only feel the leather...it feels so so so plasticky and stiff. I have never ever felt Bal leather like this :sad: I automatically thought "fake" when I pulled it out of the shipping box.

I bought the bag off of ebay, so I can't just return to a store. The seller doesn't have a return policy, so I'm not really sure what to do in this case.

The leather definitely plays an important role here. Could you shoot more clear and close up photos of its rivets and leather tag front and back again with good lighting? Also, could you give us the eBay link?

OK...here are the additional pics that I got of the Black GGH PT! I took multiple shots of the interior tags in different lighting (the writing on the back and front almost look like its etched in...its DEEP into the leather, and its not nearly as clear as the other Bal tags I've seen), and shots of three of the rivets. Hope this helps. This one has me stumped as well.
I don't recall seeing a tag like this.
Obviously you are experienced w/ balenciaga bags and if something doesn't look or feel right to you, perhaps you should investigate.

Did the seller tell you where she purchased it? Did she provide the paper tags?

The only thing that came with the bag was a dustbag, and a copy of the purchase receipt. She did not include the paper tags. The receipt says it was purchased at a boutique called French Pharmacie on 3/15/2007. I have not yet called the store, they are closed for the night. The name on the receipt was blacked out, but I can see enough to know it is not the seller's name. The seller acted like she was the original purchaser.

You're right the tag looks a little odd, but we've seen unusual Bal tags before. In the auction the bale looks right and the rivets look ok, too. I'd like to see more pictures of the leather as well. Don't worry, we'll help you figure it out! :yes:

I'll see what pictures I can get of the leather. The bag doesn't exactly smoosh into a puddle like all my other bags when you set it down. It somewhat smooshes at the bottom but mostly remains upright.

Thank you all for helping, I don't know what I'd do without you guys!!!
