Please see attached pics of a bag I bought off ebay that I think is a fake...can you let me know...I've copied the pics off ebay so hope they are ok..

It looks too light to be an 05 bag..IMO, it looks more to an 08 light magenta..
What do you guys think?

Sorry, but pics were taken in very bright sunlight on one of the rare sunny days that we had this summer in the UK! Others are welcome to chip in with comments, of course.

I've actually taken photos of a Rouge Theatre that look like a Magenta, in our bright California sunshine! I'm not on my computer, or I'd upload one. Now I know to stay in the shade, or indirect sunlight.:sunshine:

Can you re-post the last few? I can't enlarge them. Or can you post the ebay link, so we can see them better? I can enlarge the first photo, and it doesn't ease my mind. The bales are still too small to be sure, but they look suspicious, and the hardware looks pewter, which wouldn't go with the "new," look of that leather.

Actually, I do try to take a few in different lightings. The only color that stays true regardless or where you photograph, is black. Actually, that's not even always true. Some of the new black bags can get washed out to a soft gray in the bright sun. Balenciaga has taught me some things about photography! Which is great. My mother always said, education is worth whatever it costs! ;)

What are the numbers on the back of the leather tag?

Also post a clear close up shot of the bales on the detachable strap.

First impression is that it doesn't look good.
