Thanks Sssy - I wanted it to be authenticated because I had read negative things about possible returns etc. I thought the hardware was a bit funny - with it having grey specks and not solid like the ones I saw in the Balenciaga store. I don't know if it's something 'new' for the SS16 collection?

But just to be sure, there's no red flags??

I noticed the spotty hardware- I just think it is there because of the storage or some reaction with a hand cream? It is not flawless, but it is authentic in my opinion. Oh, and it is 2015, not 2016

Thanks again! Well I just bought this brand new from Net-a-porter. Is the hardware defective? If so I would ask them to send yet another replacement or return it for a refund. The first one had the same specked hardware but dents in the handles.

I must admit I'm not sure why the hardware looks so odd, but if it bothers you maybe they can send you a hand-picked one? You can create a thread about it, maybe other owners of bags from 2015 will chime in

Hehe this was handpicked by them because the first one had the dented handles.. But I'll take your advice and create a thread! Thanks for all your help! Really appreciate it!
