Sounds like the right move... Worst case, you decide you don't like it and have him replace the whole thing, but if he suggested just that bit it sounds like someone who knows what he's doing. I had the same suggestion from my leather guy, who is the repair shop the local Balenciaga boutique sends out to... He's been doing leather repair for 3 decades (!) and sees lots of balenciagas. My corner wasn't totally worn thru though, just "scabby" and I was able to fix it up DIY. Post pics when u get her back! I'm a total sucker for black city bags, I'd have one from every year if I could....

I was wondering who got this wonderful bag ;) I was about to buy it as well! I'm so glad a fellow tPfer got it! I'm so happy for you! I also bought from this seller and his bags are really in good condition.

I was pretty confident about the authenticity of the Balenciaga bag I found in eBay by looking at the pictures. However, when the bag arrived, it just have a different feel of my previous three balenciaga purse I had purchased. I love the giant giant bolts and that's why I purchased this giant 21 gold, and I understand different years of design may have different made in here and there. But would you help me to look at this so I can be more sure about the authencity other than just my non professional guess.

Hello, the features looks fine to me. But since you are holding the bag, we are authenticating based on the photos, if you feel uncomfortable, you should return it.

I would like to mention that the zipper slider and its annulet are not in the same color, which is the most suspicious part I feel.
