Honestly Stefanie, it looks fine to me.. It's from a Japan seller that deals in these high end bags all the time. They are known for selling genuine goods.
The stiffness of the leather could be the year- some of the newer leathers are stiffer and take longer to break in.
Also any smell could be from a leather conditioner or just due to Asia- everything I buy from there has a slight odor but if it's aired out in fresh air it will dissipate quickly.
But that's just my opinion.

(At least the seller is honest enough to admit it may be counterfeit)

To begin with, this one is not city style, otherwise a "First", so you can imagine the rest.... FAKE to me.

Thanks I've contacted the seller and asked her to Cancel the sale. Disappointed that there are so many fakes and dishonest sellers out there.

Thank you. Oh i really have to research more on balenciaga bags, I thought it was authentic,only that the price is too low but given that the bag was from a thrift shop and seller cannot assure its authenticity hence the price.
