Just wanted to say thank you Cbarrus for authenticating several City bags for me. I purchased the 2004 from Bonanza yesterday. The seller of the one on Ebay tried to claim that it was the same bag and that perhaps the flash from the camera made it look like hers had the engraved metal plate! Someone bid on it though. Should I say anything or no because I guess I have no absolute proof that the one she is selling is fake?

I have sent the seller an offer which she has accepted provide I pay directly through paypal without ebay. I have no experience with that method so does it still protect me if there are any problems?

Hi -I'm not an authenticator but I would certainly wait until someone has had a look at this listing as IMHO I don't like the look of this one....

This bag is fake (good call mere girl). As for the off-ebay offer, I personally would not do this with someone I do not know. PayPal protection can be iffy at best with a lot of hoops to jump through.

You're welcome :smile1: I have an 04 black City, and you will love it! There is probably nothing you can do about the ebay listing since there are no real signs the bag shown in the listing is fake.
