If you had any hesitation to begine with, why did your purchase it? I honestly do not want to come across as being rude, really I don't, that's the kind of person I am. But I never purchase a handbag if I didn't feel really confient that it was the real thing. But if I ever hesitate that a bag may not be the real thing, I would never purchase. Although I don't think his bags are being sold as fakes yet only becasue they are afforadable for most when new.

Not sure if you're addressing this to me, but I had placed the bid @ the last minute after I had seen the post to answer my question, which I was 99 percent sure it was going to a "no fakes" as I had never seen or heard of the fakes and had doubted @ that this price range, they would be counterfeited. He's not exactly cheap; he's often mid-range @ retail value, but at the bottom end of mid-range. I wanted to make sure though.

Hi :-)

I am not an expert by any means. However, I have owned and loved many B. Mak bags and judging by the photos only I would say it is authentic.

The logos are consistent, the lining, tag, key ring, zippers and studs are all consistent.

That being said, for the price they are asking you can get a new bag that does not have the seam issues this one does.
I have had only 1 B bag do that and that was because it had gotten very wet...long story. It was also very very heavily used. Still is. The leather lasts forever on these bags.

Even with the seam issues the bag is still well made and would function for years. Just wouldn't look as pretty

I wouldn't buy it myself simply because I know I can get a new one for about the same cost. The style isnt as important to me as condition.

In the end its your call. Good luck :-)

I am trying to authenticate this. Any help is appreciated.

I have purchased 2 different B. Makowsky Bags. 1 has a tag inside with no number at the bottom and the other has a number at the bottom of the tag. How do I know if they are both authentic or not ? Did these bags first come out with no numbers on the tag and recently they have started adding a number ? I'm not a rich person, would love to buy Prada but I love the designs of B. Makowsky and they are within my budget so I'm happy with that. I would however not want to purchase a fake bag of any kind. Especially one that I love. So please help me if you can and tell me how to authenticate one of his bags ... Thanks so much, I really appreciated your help !
