Just seen this on ebay - I loved the design when I saw it in Liberty but there was only one left and it was damaged.

I'm thinking this has to be a fake because of the border - unless someone can tell me differently.

If anyone could tell me what the design was called I'd be really grateful as I'll keep looking for a genuine 2nd hand scarf.

Many thanks

Joy

I've never seen this pattern on a "modal" scarf, but it looks wonky to me...Not sure what it is, the hem not being more refined, the all-around stitching on the label, the skulls looking almost childish...Maybe someone with a pashmina or other non-chiffon scarf can chime in....:shrugs:

I wonder if anyone could authenticate this scarf for me please?

It seems genuine, but I want to make sure before I place the bid.

Thank you in advance ;)

I have been trawling eBay trying to find an authentic McQ scarf recently. There are great tips on here so thanks to everyone for the info. I have one scarf that I bought retail so I am sure of it's authenticity & like Brennamom has said - I am using that as a reference.

I had that one on my watch list piscis - I thought it looked genuine. I see the auction has ended now though. Maybe someone got lucky?
