Thanks Bvlgari_babe...

I recently bought a used vintage YSL sunglasses on eBAY there was no manufacture trade mark details on both temples of the glasses, so naturally I opened a case with PayPal as the seller is refusing to take it back, and unable to provide proof of purchase. I was asked by paypal to produce a document stating its not authentic from a dealer/manufacture in 7 days... otherwise they will dismiss the case.

I contacted Safilo company (the company who manufactures most of the top designer glasses) and they advised to drop the glasses with one of their distributor (optometrist) and they can send it through to the repairs/warrenty department for authenticity assessment. Even for authentic glasses, the printings on the arm can rub off with time and usage. I am still waiting for the assessment from them .... (I am not sure if I will make the 7 day deadline).

A word of warning to others buying sunglasses on ebay, the proof of counterfeit lies with the buyer. Therefore be very careful with your purchase.... and if you did have doubts, act quickly and get it assessed ASAP...

This isn't Sunnies but I saw after posting oopsy they they aren't authenticating Hermes belts anymore?! So I need help somewhere before I buy this!

Any help is much appreciated!

Item: Hermes belt, H leather belt, dark and light brown and I deal with this lady all the time so she is giving me a deal at $299.
Seller: She's not selling through eBay it's a lady I know from Cali
History: Hermes store in Cali
Pictures: She just took all these pictures for me in her house and texted them and did say the H was a little scratched up but that's common.
Comments: Normally this lady does have all authentic things but before spending $299 on a belt I just want to make sure. She said she has only worn it a few times, however no box or anything that came with it when she bought it. I'd just like it looked at to be 100% sure also because I knew very little about Hermes belts is $299 a good deal used?

I bought these and am not sure if they are authentic or not... Could you ladies help me?!

The sunglasses appear to be real, although some of the pics are blurry. I'm not 100% sure as I don't own these sunglasses however I'm fairly sure the case should be the quilted one, given they are the mother of pearl edition.

Thank you, the case isn't a quilted one. It does have the etching on the lens, I tried to capture that but didn't work so well lol :-)

I compared your Dior to my frame-less Dior shades purchased from Nordstroms and they look similar in several ways. My pair doesn't have any etching on the lens that say Dior either. The style numbers writing styles look the same as well as have the same setup for the information. The white/grey case is also the same as the one I have.

You didn't mention in your post, but do the plastic nose pieces say Dior on them? My pair does on both pieces. Also, did the pair not come with a Dior card that talks about the frames, where they were created, fashion, etc.? Mine came with that as well.

Sorry I couldn't be more definitive but hopefully that helps a bit!

I just realized this, the nose pieces do say Dior on both sides!! BUT it didn't come with a card bc I bought them from someone she might have lost it? Idk? But def says Dior on each nose piece!
