Tom Ford sunglasses have the writing at the end of the ear pieces (so it would sit behind your ears) The best way to tell is if you can upload photos.

Hello could someone please help me authenticicate my new bought Tom Ford Jennifer Glasses (colour greyB05) I bought them online as this color is sold out in all shops in my area.......I already compared them to the ones I have at home and the they seem legit to me but I not totally convinced

-Left ear piece : Print Jennifer TF 8 col.B5 61 16 120 print is printed on the left side at the bigger end of the ear piece
- right ear piece:120 Tom Ford MAde In Italy CE
- Serialnumber is engraved/imprinted on the left inner earpiece on the left side directly under the Jennifer print

on my other glasses this number is positioned in the middle of the left ear piece .......so Im confused ...wheere should the serial number normally be positioned

Hi ladies could you guys help me authenticate these sunnies that I've bought?! I hope I'm posting all of this in the right stop and not taking over someone else thread!!! TIA :-)

The first pair is Dior

Here are the pictures I've taken of these and the "legs" show (C) (that's my attempt at the copyright symbol lol) Christian Dior
That's on the right leg as if your about to put them on your face
Then the left leg says CE Made In Italy and below that Dior Gaucho 2 HJWVK 135 -
The hardware where the screws are on the inside also say Dior on both sides but there is no etching on the lenses on either side?!

The second pair is Dolce Gabbana
Now on these when you put them to your face the right leg says DOLCE&GABBANA MADE IN ITALY CE
The left leg as your putting them to your face says DG2005 039/73 120
This one does have a laser inscription on the right lens (again as if your putting these on) that says RD0909707

Any help on authenticating these would be so appreciated! I do not want to own fakes let alone pay high prices for a fake!! :-)

I compared your Dior to my frame-less Dior shades purchased from Nordstroms and they look similar in several ways. My pair doesn't have any etching on the lens that say Dior either. The style numbers writing styles look the same as well as have the same setup for the information. The white/grey case is also the same as the one I have.

You didn't mention in your post, but do the plastic nose pieces say Dior on them? My pair does on both pieces. Also, did the pair not come with a Dior card that talks about the frames, where they were created, fashion, etc.? Mine came with that as well.

Sorry I couldn't be more definitive but hopefully that helps a bit!

See mine don't say anything on the nose pieces?! Nope no card :-/

I have a general authenticity question, does all AUTHENTIC designer sunglasses have model/serial numbers/manufacture on the arms? If its not there any more (i.e. from very used pair) then its impossible to tell whether its authentic?

Many Thanks

Not all designers number their sunglasses. Most do though. If they're limited edition they should always have a number BUT you can't always see it, sometimes it's on the lens but hidden by the frame. If you have photos, you can upload them and I'll take a look. If you don't get a reply within a day, PM me as I might have missed the post.
