Open the bag so that the zipper is opposite to you.
Look on the right (your right) of the zipper and you should find it there.

Don't worry if you don't find it. My papillon 26 didn't have a date code either (I'm 100% sure, I checked with a flashlight and everything) but I discovered it early and was able to exchange it for one that did. :yes:

:wtf: wow, does LV consider it defect then? Who would've thought! Glad you were able to exchange for another one!
Take it to store if you really can't find it, i was 100% sure it's there, but now Jen mention what happen w/hers......Good Luck!

There is one very close to the seam/zipper. The date code is on the opposite end of the D-ring. I didn't see the date code on my Papillon either until the SA pointed it out. You almost have to flip the bag inside out to get a clear view.

It's official, my Damier Papillon does not have a date code :hysteric: OMG, I am soooo depressed I could cry :crybaby: I never thought to check for it when I bought the bag. Why would I? It’s from the LV boutique!!!

Do you all think that LV would let me exchange it for another? The bag is in perfect pristine condition and I still have the receipt :sad:

yeah!!! doesn't just bother you not to find it? i had a hard time find some of my date code too.....come to think of it, HOW can those Ebay seller get the date code pix? i mean i will never ever stretch the seams so far apart just to get the pix.....poor LV

So true, it is crazy with this Pap. I've never had an issue finding the date code before. I almost cried... how silly of me :roflmfao:
