Happy birthday! You cannt go wrong with either. Both are nice! If price is not an issue, I would personally go for a bag. More versatile, back pocket, better strap option, capacity and size wise can go day to night.

Thank you all for your kind advice and birthday wishes ❤️! So because everyone was leaning towards choosing the handbag, I went into the shop again to take another look at that bag. And to my surprise, other than the underside of the flap, the interior lining of the handbag was all fabric! I took a pic of the inside of the black version.

Now I'm not sure whether this is normal, but for the corresponding WOC, almost the entire lining, card slots etc, is leather. That gives the impression that the handbag is lower quality?
At a similar price point, are mini flap bags leather lined? Or also fabric?

Tbh I'm a bit disappointed because I had almost made up my mind to change to the handbag, now I'm undecided again 😂

While I was there I took random pics. Thought it would be good eye candy.

If have to pick one from these two, keep the cheapest which is 35% less, that’s significant price difference.

I tried to put my mom’s really old iPhone 8 in the pocket and it fit! (Minus 1 mm sticking out the top). I have a new Samsung (Galaxy S23 FE) which is huge and it fits width-wise, but sticks out the top more.
