I have this in the pebbled leather, and it is definitely not a stiff leather
The corners and 'A' stitching on the sides of the bag help to keep the structure, but I find that the front and back slouch a little over time and are quite soft. It is a great size and in my experience, less rigid than other Aspinal styles such as the Mayfair and Marylebone.
If you are in the UK you could try Labelsmostwanted? Not sure if I'm allowed to put links here, but just google them. I purchased a second-hand Givenchy bag from a pre-loved site, and asked if she would sell a friend's Aspinal hobo. She herself didn't handle Aspinal bags but advised me speak to them. I haven't done so yet, so no experience with them. Might be worth a try?

I live in the US so am unable to see the bags in person. Can anyone provide insight on the large and midi size mayfairs? I’m struggling with which size to order. I 5’7 and about 140 pounds. I typically carry a compact wallet, mini pochette as a catch all, phone, keys, sometimes my small kindle and that’s about it.
I’m looking at the Mayfair from the US also. My guess is the larger one would suit your needs better. I don’t think the midi could carry the mini pochette and the kindle.
I have the midi mayfair and it won't hold everything you want and if you overfill you won't be able to close the bag and have it snap shut. Definitely get the large mayfair. I have a compact wallet and it just fits.

Can I ask does it feel and smell like leather? I have been eyeing these bags, but just received a bag from a different company that said leather, but it has what feels like a plastic coating. Don't want to send for a bag across the ocean if I am not sure how it will feel. Thanks in advance.
Now I can't wait till Christmas. Mine will be the regular size as I can't do heavy bags. I think the extra depth will make it bigger than my gucci and will give me that tiny bit of extra space I need.
