My first Aspinal of London bag ever arrived today! I purchased one of the last available Midi Mayfairs in the Deep Shine Cherry Ombre and they were sold out the next day. I think she's lovely!

Side note: I wanted to get the luxury gift wrap because Aspinal's boxes looked so gorgeous, and only realized today when I received the bag that I forgot to add it to my purchase. Does anyone know if the gift wrap boxes can be purchased by themselves? Hopefully that's not a weird question

I snagged the last of these from the Selfridges website a few weeks ago after it had sold out at Aspinal, and finally had the opportunity to take her out of the house where I remembered to take a pic

The Marmalade Ombre Midi Mayfair is my first of this size, as my other Mayfair is a Mini in Bordeaux Silk Lizard. Does anyone know if Aspinal will issue the regular/large Mayfair in something other than the standard colors anytime soon? My bank account says no, but my heart says "Dragonfly and Cherry Ombre are such pretty colors" The Marmalade photographs brighter/redder than it is in person, as it's more of a pumpkin-esque shade, but I love it completely. So far it's paired quite well with navy, grey, cream, red, and deep pink, and coordinates smashingly with the Klimt print scarf.

Cloud isn’t a standard color and they did a full size in it, but they don’t do it with every colorway, for whatever reason. I would have loved a full size Mayfair when then did the Willow colorway!

I recently bought my mother a soft glasses case in orange for her handbag. She absolutely loves it and commented on its quality. I had it gifted in a box with ribbon. It's the first time I've delved into Aspinal and it came up trumps. If my 80+ year old mother loves it and remarks on the quality, I take notice...

They do too many gorgeous colors in the nano/mini/midi sizes that don't ever get to the full size, it can be frustrating. Cloud is an example of one that, while pretty, is just another neutral in my eyes. Willow was definitely a more interesting colorway, and given that they do seem to recycle/bring back random colors from the past that were likely popular (see: Cherry Ombre), I'm hoping that we see more along the lines of Twilight, Dragonfly, Willow, and other interpretations of their color palette that lean more intriguing than bland. At least for Spring/Summer, right? :)

I would LOVE a full size in Dragonfly. I hope that color gets brought back. Twilight is “eh” for me but I adore Willow and have a few things in it. I also have the Cloud Mayfair and love it, but yes, it does lean neutral.
