Hi, I’m new to AoL but I’ve fallen in love with the Mayfair style! How do their sales work? Will they add more styles or drop prices more as time goes on etc? I really like the Bordeaux and the pink cherry colours…should I wait for them to go on sale? Do Mayfairs ever go on sale? Also, I don’t really understand the deep shine? Is it not patent? Thanks!
Welcome! Here’s what I know:
- They do seasonal colors most every season and seasonal colors usually go on sale if they haven’t sold out
- They do pinks reasonably often from what I can tell, so the cherry blossom might not sell out. In which case you could expect it to go on sale.
- Deep shine is not patent and you’ll feel the texture more. I feel is it more luxurious but the patent may be more hard-wearing.

Yes, burgundy is available every season. Even if it sells out on one sale, it will show up again, and go on sale again. They do sometimes add an extra discount towards the end of the sale.

I’m new to Aspinal of London but am searching for a tan (or neutral) cross body bag. I was deciding between the Michael Kors Soho and RM Edie when I stumbled on AOL and now really like the Resort bag and Lottie bag - obviously different style to the MK and RM bag but would love to know feedback on the size/leather of the resort and normal (not large) Lottie??Also if anyone has the MK or RM bags how they compare i quality/durability etc to the AOL bags! Unfortunately no AOL stockist near me so can’t see them in real life and no reviews on the resort bag that I can find!

I had several MK bags in the past, and own 4 AoL bags and 7 RM bags. I don't think MK is even close in terms of quality. RM is pretty close to AoL, imo. I know a few here on TPF who love their RM Edie bags.
Hi,
I just received my first two bags (London midi tote and a small crossbody bag) from Aspinal. They are both in the sale so just wondering if they would be included in the extended Christmas returns?
I really like them and they are lighter than I expected but worry that I might see more bags I like in the Christmas sales
