Lottie is superior as an everyday bag imo. It's just a bit more understated the material is more durable (no patent to wear off over time). I think of the mayfair as more of a special occasion bag, personally. So I'd go lottie to start!! Their sales basically make them 20% off so it's a great time to buy if you are interested!
Thank you. This is very helpful information. I do want an evening bag in this colour but definitely one that can be a bit more daytime smarter / evening. Still considering which size with the Lottie.

Ladies, is the soft taupe Lottie dark enough to not fall victim to colour transfer? I love it, but just wondering whether it would be a disaster waiting to happen with jeans. I'd LOVE the Lottie in a pebbled tan leather.

I was worried about this too but the wonderful thing about this bag is the double chain option. If carrying with dark wash or black jeans you could double the chain and shoulder carry and with more colour fast fabrics, prints or paler denim wear it cross body! This is the exact bag I’m increasingly tempted by too. The large is now out of stock.

I have a navy quilted Lottie which if relatively new so I havent had much of a chance at carrying. I’m wondering about another colour and am just wondering if anyone has a large Lottie and how they find the size works for them. Is it quite large not to have a top handle?

@Katinahat, I have a question about your quilted Navy lottie. Would you call the color a muted navy or a vibrant navy? The stock photos look very vibrant but there is one stock photo in outside lighting that makes the color look quite dark and muted...
