Howard Stern is your source?! Lol. Pretty sure most women do it of their own preference and have their own preference to if they want it all gone or to leave some. Some women feel it's too pre-pubescent to take it all off so they leave a strip while others prefer no hair. But please don't relate women choosing to do this with seeking to please a man. I'm sure there are some women out there doing it to please a man but that argument can be made for many other things we women do. There are women who prefer lovely lace undergarments, we don't automatically assume it's for a man.

It's just like getting a lip, leg or underarm waxing. I wouldn't say it's super painful; the sting happens as the was strip is removed and then the sting is gone same with any other waxing. I haven't waxed in years and just did laser everywhere because I got tired of shaving, waxing prep, making appointments, finding time, etc. Personally, I like to be able to throw on a dress, swimsuit, skirt, shorts and not have to think "oh ish, I need to shave". It saves time.

So, how do you get your bits lasered? :graucho: I'm genuinely curious!

Like waxing, it's no different from doing laser hair on your legs or underarms; the process is exactly the same (you can look at videos on YouTube). It's probably about a 10 minute session, usually you have to go for about 6 sessions initially then once every 12-18 months for maintenance. Hormonal changes can cause the hair to grow back in a bit.

My friend got laser on her legs and said it was painful.

Ashley Graham is known for speaking out about body positivity.

And the curvy model practiced what she preaches on Sunday, as she posted a picture of herself in her bathing suit.

'Finally feels like summer,' wrote Ashley, alongside the sultry picture.

Everyone has different tolerance levels plus if you have a sh*tty person doing the job and they're using a cheap machine, it will determine the experience. Plus being nervous doesnt help....just like anything else. It feels like snapping a rubber band on your skin. The laser should pulse and have a cooling air right after to soothe the skin.

It is painful but SO worth it. I went to a place that used numbing cream and then this cooling machine that I had control of. I would move the machine to where the laser would zap next on my leg to further numb the area. Because of the numbing cream and cooling machine I was able to tolerate the laser at the highest setting so I had better results. That was over 8 years ago and I haven't needed any touch ups.

Ashley is fabulous but I'd like her to bring it down a few notches. Certainly larger women can be sexy but I feel like she's trying too hard now -- everything has to be too tight or falling out!
The picture below is evidence of that. If you have to stand on the couch/chair to take your picture in a bathing suit, then yeah, you're trying too hard. I do applaud her for bringing more exposure to an underrepresented segment in the fashion industry.

That sounds awful!
