I read that in the PI too and am glad you posted it. I've seem them selling the designer fakes right across the street from the Public Market next to the Showbox...there were a lot of LV's.
Benson & Hedges are the cigs that I smoke... Weird that someone would try to replicate them.

This was a great article. And it IS getting more and more difficult to discern fakes from authentic bags. That's why I only buy my bags from the actual boutiques. Then there is no question about authenticity.

Sadly, Viagra is highly counterfeited. Seriously. It's mass produced overseas in factories and sold on the internet to people who a) don't want to go to the doctor for a legit rx; b) want to use it recreationally (to feel like an instant porn star); and c) intend to sell it on the street. Sometimes the fake Viagra pills are placebos--they look exactly like a real pill but they're basically made of sugar. But occasionally, the fake pills will actually have a small amount of the active ingredient to produce the desired effects. They are not as potent as the real deal, and are very dangerous because they're not regulated by the FDA or any other consumer organization for that matter. They could be produced in someone's dirty basement just like meth! Just like there are gangs of counterfeiters who study and examine LVs/Chanels/Hermes, etc, to try to replicate the trade secrets, there are gangs of chemists who do the same to knock-off products from the pharmaceutical industry.
