Well, some items had holes that were not disclosed. That being said, don't be scared off -- I found my beautiful vintage croc Kelly at this auction.

I actually emailed them about 4 days ago with a query about one of their items-- just a request for details about condition-- and they didn't get back to me. I'm curious how communication from them has been from those of you who've purchased from them in the past.

ya know, if one has a great relationship with a reseller, i'd bet this is a mode of operation for them... i'm totally ignorant on that account though... trying to recall what i read in michael tonello's book last summer

Laila, how much in taxes do you pay on top and how much do you get back in a tax refund?

let me go hunt down my receipt and get back to you...
i think the auction fees were something like 25% and the tax is only on the fees, not on the entire cost. so the tax refund did not amount to much.
for example, on a 1000 euro item, the fee would be approx 250 euros. then the tax would be less than 50 euros. but again, i can try and find what i may have saved with more precise figures.
