I've seen the musical twice over the years and one of my kids had the Broadway cast soundtrack on constantly for a time back in the day. I thought I might go see the movie but am not interested now because they've split it into 2 movies. I just don't think it's worth 2 movies.

It tells me that they added a lot of unnecessary material to pad the story. The first movie will run nearly as long as the Broadway show. That means half of the overall story will be additions/filler.
I won’t usually watch anything that’s divided into 2 parts. Seems like an unnecessary money grab.

I love the show. But this is hard no for me. I already dislike Arianna, but like the movie hasn't even come out yet and I am already sick of both of them.
I feel like they are trying to copy the Barbie movie PR plan with the elaborate outfits and never ending worldwide premiere tour.
I think you’re right. They are certainly promoting it as a must-do event for female fans to bring their friends and family to the theatre to watch the first part together, like Barbie. I’m sure fans of the Broadway show will be happy, or at least satisfied, with it. People unfamiliar with the show may enjoy it too but wonder what all the fuss is about.
No. But the other ones you mentioned are very skinny, but not sickly. I hope Ariana is alright. I remember when she first came out, she was so pretty. Her features were so delicate and sweet.
OK, I googled her and found out she finalized a divorce in 2024. So that must be stressful. Poor girl. She's so young.

That marriage was weird, it seemed to come out of nowhere and you could kind of tell it wouldn’t last. Never mind the fact that she started dating married SpongeBob guy with his newborn somewhere very close to the marriage break up if you know what I mean.
If I’m not mistaken she initialized the divorce and they hadn’t been together very long, maybe a couple of years. I don’t think that caused it. Plus as lanasyogamama mentioned, she already had her costar lined up as her new boyfriend.
She’s a bit messy, but I do feel like what happened in Manchester must have such a long-term impact on her mental health.
You are too kind. Ever since the donut licking incident, I knew that she was just a self-absorbed, kind of mean little brat. You can be certain she’s done plenty of other questionable stuff in her life, only there wasn’t a security video there to record it.

I think I’m just naively hopeful that people can improve.
After that, almost anything would be an improvement.
I think she really struggled after the death of Mac Miller as well.
