As near as I can tell they separated around January 2023 while she was out of the country filming. Nobody would know about the breakup until that summer when she started appearing without her ring. Wicked was split into two movies and there was a break between filming them. By the time filming for the second part resumed, she was definitely thinner and she had started a relationship with her costar.
Maybe it’s unfair but Ariana doesn’t seem like the type to let a breakup cause her enough distress to lose weight. She’s had many other breakups and even her friends didn’t think that marriage would last.
I know Ariana is tiny but she looks way too thin in recent pics of her promoting wicked. She doesn’t look well imo.
I think this is the look she's going for and happy with. Gamine - tiny frame, large eyes, sharp jaw and high cheekbones.
I had been looking forward to seeing Wicked but the movie has been so over-promoted and pimped out to every possible company for a product tie-in, that I’m already sick of it and it hasn’t been released yet. The icing on the cake is knowing that they broke it into two parts so that they can squeeze even more money out of ticket buying fans next year.
There isn’t any anticipation to go see it anymore. I am more than happy to wait until it’s free some time down the road.

This is so true. I feel like they’ve been promoting this movie for a year. Way too much. And as interested as I am to see it, I’m very happy to wait for it to be free as well.
I could see her doing some kind of role as Audrey Hepburn.
She looks like she only eats air at this point. I wonder if she ever craves a pizza, or a hamburger…

I had not planned on seeing it as I only know Wicked from the soundtrack having never seen the musical. (I know). My extended family are big fans and they are already planning on seeing it opening night. It has apparently been getting rave reviews from those who have seen it. They have me wanting to go see it now.
Let us know if it lives up to the hype. I can’t remember the last time a movie has received so much promotion, particularly a musical.
