You’re funny @carterazo. Seriously tho, I have a Piper in oyster (pretty!) and like you, I.must.stop.buying.bags- BUT the Cooper in oyster is my last (haha) wish. Someone here on the forum posted a pic of one she purchased & it was stunning.
Something I’ve noticed about oyster - you know how usually when we get our bags they’re not quite as bright & pretty as in Dooney’s pics? With oyster it’s the reverse - it looks even prettier in hand or in our “real” pics

For sure. I feel like handbags in general have just not been speaking to me the way they previously had. Not sure if it’s the styles or just me. Maybe I’m pretty bag content who knows lol
I don't think I like everything in any brand out there. I know I'm kind of over the color/with tan trim thing. After a while, it's not "equestrian" like the original design. Most women get bored with bags. If they didn't, there would be this incredible market for them. Maybe it's like eating? At a certain point, you feel "sated." Some call it bag contentment. Other women realize that "Hey! No more room! I only have two arms and 365 days in which to wear them." Something triggered my bag buying and now I'm looking at them and well, wondering if I could have purchased fewer. I think I bought four. In the past two years, nine. But I know I don't want any more. Time to purge and it's not about bad energy or sparking joy. (I had this aha moment this morning after trying to store bags.)

Dooney is my first love and always will be and it will always have my heart. I love how classic and timeless Peter’s style is. Now, having said that, I may stray to MK or my LV speedy some here and there, but over the years I always come back to D&B!!! And, I’m leaving for Destin, FL in two days so I’m super excited to visit the D&B and MK outlet!!!
I would love to hear if there are any good deals at the outlet. I am concentrating my purchases on the Alto Collection and a couple of Florentine bags for variety. A few years ago, someone on PF stated they stopped selling the Alto line in the outlet stores. Does anyone know if this is true?
It was true, for a while there were not Altos at the outlets. But lately, on some of the YT videos I've seen an Alto or two at some of the outlets.
My suggestion would be to call the outlets and ask. Be sure the bag is returnable if you order by phone and get a good description of the condition.

I asked the manager specifically about Alto, she said corporate no longer allows any items from the Alto line to be sold in the outlets at this point. [emoji27]
I am still enthusiastic—it waxes and wanes. For me, it depends much on wardrobe.... if its yoga pants and a comfy shirt I don’t get too excited about bags. But if I am wearing an outfit I like, I do like to choose a bag that works well with it.

I’m still into Dooney, despite having taken a break from here after Christmas. I just couldn’t in good conscience buy any more bags for awhile, and it helps if I stay away from this site and the two company sites a LOT!!
Sometimes they go through ‘down’ periods where not much appeals to me, but so does every company. Fossil is like this. I either go in there and want to drop five grand or I look around and just curl my lip and leave. For the last like, two YEARS it’s been ‘curl my lip and leave’ with Fossil. But they’ll be back.
With LV, the years that Marc Jacobs was there, and around the time of the Murakami collaborations, was Peak LV for me, and then it was ‘ugh’ until, like, just this past year.
Dooney will be back for you at some point, in all likelihood!
I’m waiting. I really want that duck crossbody with the boot-rubber-type bottom but in a larger size...I’ll wait...
