Are we carrying fewer cards?

My large continental wallet has 8 card slots and a new one I eyed has 12. But I only carry 4, a licence, personal debit card, personal credit card and a business debit card. I'm using a mini zip wallet with 4 slots but it's a nuisance having to fold up the notes (bills). And my phone doesn't fit inside.

I asked my SA and she said the designers give customers what they want. I heard that in the U.S there are apps that hold card details now.

I would like a thin continental wallet with fewer slots because I can't bear looking at empty slots; it makes me feel like a loser [emoji23][emoji23]

I have a compact wallet from Chanel with just six slots. I think two of them are currently empty. I have a debit card, just one credit card which I carry around with me and my business account card. The other one is a Liberty points card. I don't like having too many cards as it makes it harder to track expenses.

I don't. I have my wallet, and a "card case" slash coin purse for my reward card things I don't want in my wallet.

I carry a mini bag and so I have a card case. I only ever carry my driver's license, insurance card, debit card, and maybe a credit card if I'm traveling, so it's more than enough for me.

+1 with the rewards cards! WAY too many!!! I like it when they just use your phone #. Drives me nuts keeping tracking of all those cards. I need to look into an app for that, like BC mentioned.

I use a coin purse just for all my cards. I don't like carrying a big wallet.

I am most def NOT carrying fewer cards!
I either carry just a card wallet (plus a coin purse of I have cash on me), a medium wallet like my small Chloe Marcie or a large one, which is usually Lumi Sylvi Trifold. I have a Liebeskind Fanni continental on the way, and am contemplating on reinstating a Modalu Pippa wallet. I have left out a few cards that have gotten very little use.

Ok i couldn't remember how many slots my wallet had i just checked.. 6 either side their full! plus several more in side pockets.. between reward cards, membership cards, health cards and so forth i am full!:giggles:

I carry two ccs and one debit with my driver's license so my ZCP is perfect.
I use an app or passbook to keep track of store loyalty cards.

Drugstore, bubble tea place, clothing store, bookstores, sushi place, Sephora, etc, etc.

Some stores are really strict about showing your card in person, others can access your membership information based on your identification details (ID, phone number, etc).

I'm finding that even if I keep the cards in the slots, when I fish them out I never put them back in their original slot and just dump them in my wallet (Always rushing after paying, lol). I probably need a dedicated card holder.

I use a small wallet but still need the 8 slots because I have to carry around my insurance card, and my kids' insurance card, let alone, License, two credit, and debit. But I recently got a Wonder Wallet that holds up to 24 cards and I keep my store cards and gift cards in there. Also helps diversify in case someone steals my wallet - they won't have everything. And keeps thing organized.

Oh, and I should add that I tried an app once but it only works if your phone isn't dead which mine always seems to be!

I changes to a LV zippy coin purse awhile ago. Has 4 slots and 1 in the middle, its perfect. It also fits perfect in a mini bag where the big wallets do not.

I think 6 slots is typical, then again I have a small wallet so I manage with that (2 cc's, dl, insurance, etc.) Rewards cards... yeah just a couple keychain ones on my keychain. :\
