Are there still Legacy fans out there?

I love legacy as well and was very late to the party. I just bought a mahogany duffle this past winter and love it. I m actually thinking of a molly or small Candace. I always loved molly and never pulled the trigger!

+1. Also in the Legacy Leather Gluttony Club! I credit/blame a former member who had over 20 duffles that she posted on her stairs! Gorgeous!

Also in this club! It's the 2012 Legacy line that brought me to Coach although a bit late. I still managed to amass quite the collection and continue to use my large duffles and many SLGs, esp the large wristlets, which range most of the rainbow spectrum. I also have several never used ones which just speaks to how overboard I went! [emoji15]

Although I have purged most of my Legacy bags, and a lot of my collection in general, I still have a soft spot for them. My large emerald duffle is on my never sell list as well as my caning Romy and some slgs.

I re homed a lot but still have a lot! Still have large cognac duffle, cognac e/w duffle NWT, sunflower satchel with kiss lock pockets on the sides NWT, deep port duffle NWT, black violet duffle NWT, sunflower duffle NWT, basket clutches in cognac and robins egg NWT, robins egg duffle NWT, sand Rory, black/camel duffle, large satchels is deep port and black violet NWT, sunflower penny... I'm sure there is more but that's all I can remember now.

I have these bags. I think I found all of my photos of my Legacy leather bags.

I always remember your gorgeous Willis collection!
I do regret returning my Haleys...I was in a returning panic after Coach made that new return policy/deadline and I though I wouldn't use them because the lack of a strap. I wish I would have kept one of them! Beautiful!

B e a u t i f u l collection! You reminded me I have 3 Willis Bags (with tags) that I still haven't used:smile1: I really need to start "shopping" from my collection! (Vachetta, Vermillion & Navy/Sunflower color block).

Just wondering, which Legacy bags do you think are the most hard wearing? We talked about the corners of the duffles, what about the other bags, do they hold up well?
The duffles are the only ones I've had trouble with. The leather on my bucket bag is thicker and wonderful. The most indestructible Legacy bags are the pebbled drawstrings. I think I could carry these for 50 years and they would still look new.

I wish I'd gotten a Rory when I had the chance!

I have been carrying my camel, mahogany, ivory, colorblock Rory 19902 all week and yesterday I went to the outlet with a tiered coupon and 2 gift cards in my needlepoint wallet - and I was in the mood to buy!

But there was nothing in the store that came even close to the bag I was already carrying so I took my Rory and left empty handed.

Good to know. I have three Kristins and they wear very well, so they set the bar for me. I've bought more recent bags but found myself letting go of them.

That is a beautiful Rory! And a great strategy for shopping. Take your best bag and ask if anything compares to it. I should do that more.

Thanks, I used to buy lots of bags because they were pretty and multiples of similar bags but now I try not to buy unless the bag is special and different from what I already have - that approach really cuts down on my purchases!

Yes! I recently went to my Macy's just to have a look around at Coach and I said to my daughter that honestly, not a single bag spoke to me. As I've said before, I have a few older Coach bags, some Legacy, and I keep comparing the new bags to these. I find that I love the look of the older bags so much more. I love a classic look, nothing trendy, so for me, these older bags fit the bill. Mine are pristine, so they have no wear on them at all. This is yet another testament to the older leather, it just never looks old. My daughter is carrying a small Coach shoulder bag, I think possibly in the Bleeker line. She has carried this bag exclusively for over 10 years at least. Every day. And she doesn't baby it at all. I swear the bag does not have a mark on it (it's black), absolutely no wearing on the corners, no buff marks at all. It's unbelievable. Honestly, it could pass for new. She loves it and refuses to change into another bag even though I've offered to buy her another Coach just for a change! lol. Point being, the older bags were and are, really something!
