Hello, I'm new to this and I was just reading your post about the David Yurman hoop earrings. I'm wondering did you ever purchase them, and if so, do you like them. I'm considering the medium sized hoops.

Okay first...Kstyle, I just purchased the earring this past weekend at the Saks in Ft. Lauderdale, in the extra large size...and I LOVE them!!! Yes they do the flopping to the side that someone was talking about earlier in the post...but you have to reposition them...my heart really sighs when i look at them...and is everyone ready for this....there is a David Yurman OUTLET in Ft. Lauderdale at the Sawgrass Mills Outlets...it's in their new Colonade Outlets..that are attached...OMG it's amazing...I picked up the Albion Smoky Topaz pendant with yellow sapphires...something different from the diamonds...and the oval link chain in the 18"in...and I saved about 30% total on my bill...which is better than paying full price...the SA told me it's the only outlet in North America....their number is: (954) 838-9979 and the lady who helped me was Allison Long..tell her Amita told you...so she knows I recommended her...I don't get anything for it..but I'd like her to know I thought she was sweet. They ship all over and you save on tax then.

Thanks so much for your feedback. The earrings will be my next piece. I have a friend who has been very much into D.Y. for years. I just started collecting this past October and now I'm hooked. Here are my pieces so far!!!

Though I don't own any, I love the designs. For the poster who said they are too heavy/clunky, the bangles come in various diameters. Not all are heavy-looking IMO. I prefer when he incorporates the pearl or gemstones into the jewelry. I'll own something someday, till then they always catch my eye.

I say yay (to most of it)!! I love some things, and other things are a bit too much for me. I have a simple gold and silver bracelet and the small citrine nobless ring. Love them, very classic! And I saw a ring w/ diamonds in it that I LOVE - maybe I will buy it for myself as a graduation present in 2008:smile1:

Hope you get the watch..so pretty!!

not a fan of the watch, too blingy. and with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions, i'm not a fan of yellow gold on watches.
as for the rest of his stuff, it tends to be too ornate for my tastes.

I love it. I was majorly into Tiffany sterling in my 20s, then I became a huge David Yurman fan in my 30s.

His pieces are so easy to wear, they mix and match together well, plus they can go from day to evening and still look just right. There are so many pieces to choose from, too--from very classic and simple, to very ornate, sexy, and glam. I just got the new DY catalogue with Kate Moss on the cover, and she looks hot!

Here are my David Yurman pieces:

I don't know about the watch that you've posted, but I saw yay to DY jewelry as well. I have a few bangles and bracelets, and two necklaces. My pieces are "smaller" in nature and I find that they go really well with my wardrobe and that I tend to wear some combination of the bracelets and necklace everyday.
